0300 Numbers
0300 numbers are a new number range which have been created by Ofcom and can only
be used by public sector bodies and not for profit organisations.
How do you know if you can get an 0300 number? Are you eligible?
- If you have a website URL that ends .gov.uk or .nhs.uk you can obtain a 0300 number.
- If you are a charitable organisation in Northern Ireland you can get an 0300 number.
- If you are a registered charity in Scotland (check the current list
here ) you can purchase an 0300 number.
- If you are a registered charity in England and Wales (check the current list here
) you can obtain an 0300 number.
- If you are part of the Welsh Assembly you can purchase an 0300 number ( check the
list here )
- If you are associated with the Scottish Executive you can get an 0300 number (check

- If you are listed as a public body you can obtain an 0300 number (check the list

- If you have ministerial responsibility you can get an 0300 number (check the list
here ).
