Can a 0800 Number Be Called From Abroad?

Why Are Gold Numbers More Expensive?

Gold numbers are running out fast. It is similar to the DVLA and car registrations. Companies need memorable contact numbers to either allow them to stand out from their competition or to place into radio and TV adverts. The memorable number allows the consumer to remember the number during a very short advert. As these become rarer, prices increase.

Can I Still Use My Landline That the Number Is Pointed to?

Yes. The number we provide you will just sit on top of your existing service. People will still be able to call your landline or mobile and your new number will not interfere with any existing service that you have.

When I Call Out Will People See the Number As My Phone Number?

No but you can speak to your existing phone line provider about adding a service called CLIP (Calling Line Identity Presentation) to your existing landline. This will allow you to call out and present your 0800 number as your phone number.

What Payment Methods Do You Accept?

Can I Change Where the Number Is Pointing to Myself?

Memorable 0800 numbers are becoming very hard to find. They are allocated out to companies like us by Ofcom (this is the telecommunications governing body) who then sell the numbers on to their customers. The UK is fast running out of memorable numbers and costs for them are spiralling. Some larger organisations are purchasing and keeping their own stock to ensure that they have future capability. Don’t panic – Ofcom have released a new number range which are 0808 numbers. These are exactly the same, but they are less recognised by the general public.
