City Numbers Ltd was established to deliver non geographic phone numbers to companies in the UK. Our portfolio has allowed us to expand into international markets providing numbers across the world.

The company started to provide Virtual City Phone Numbers, which you can route, to any Landline or mobile (for more information on this service please see http://www.citynumbers.co.uk). This service allows you to have a phone number in almost any city of the world and have it directed to your existing phone line. The portfolio expanded rapidly and we started to provide 0845 numbers (local rate phone numbers in the UK), 0800 numbers (free phone numbers in the UK), 0844 numbers (Local rate numbers that earn the owner of the number a revenue), 0871 numbers (National Rate numbers that earn the owner of the number a revenue share), and International Toll Free Numbers (free phone numbers from countries all over the world).

We found that most companies who wanted a number also needed the number to work on their behalf. For example we have customers who are often out of the office so we created a service that would allow our number to follow the individual from the office to the mobile to their home. At this stage we believed strongly that numbers should not only route to a single phone number so we created:

• Fax to Email - Have your faxes sent directly to your email address.
• Call Announcer - When you answer the call we play a message to you to tell you that it is a business call (any message recorded)
• IVR - Press 1 for sales, 2 for accounts 3 for billing (you tell us what options you need and we build it)
• Virtual Receptionist - If you are busy on the phone or in meetings we can answer the call in your name and forward the messages directly to you.
• Call Queuing - Never miss another call - hold your callers in a queue, tell them where they are in the queue and play messages.
• Call Recording - Record inbound and outbound calls for training or protection.
• Divert Your Calls on Busy - If you are on the phone or cant get to the phone in time you can forward your call to another number.
• Online Call Stats - View the calls you are receiving in real time, which includes the number calling you.
